A sweet & salty food tour in the seafood metropolis Grebbestad

Join us on a unique food walk in the Seafood Metropolis Grebbestad, where our local guide share favorites, tells the stories behind the first-class ingredients with world-renowned reputation, the local culture and traditions. 6 stops with treats ranging from sweet to salty. Local, sustainable and with a great love for the sea.

Time: The tour takes about 2 hours
Price: 1500 sek/person
When: Starts at 14:00 The tour is arranged when the water is as its clearest and the seafood are at their best, i.e. all months with an “R” from September to the end of April
Where: Meeting point outside Grebbestads Fiskhandel
How: Dress for the weather, a biggest part of the tour is outdoor. In case of cooler winds and such like, make sure you are dry and warmly dressed. Wear walk-friendly shoes.
For whom: The tour is suitable for most people, but only food-interested children benefit from the tour. Please note that it includes an easier hike including stairways. Disabled-friendly food tours can be organized, but must be booked well in advance.
The tour is also suitable for pescitarians. The tour can be adapted to vegans in some extent, but some parts are not available for obvious reasons.

Subject to changes, as weather and wind determine our “menu”. Normally the tour does not take part on Sundays and Mondays when little fresh seafood is available. A minimum of four people is required to carry out a tour or the equivalent amount of money for fewer people.
