Forest Retreat
Friday 3 pm – Saturday 11 am

A wonderful overnight stay filled with yoga, meditation, fresh air, food & nature. Our yoga instructor Ingela Holgersson guides you in this Forest Retreat where well-being and health are in focus.

Located in a beautiful natural setting where barren rocks of Bohus granite coexist with forest and invite you to open your body, mind and soul. Simplicity and back to nature. Meditate, yoga and eat outdoors!

Food and beverage in the open air

Yoga form: Hatha yoga with elements of Yin yoga

For whom? The Forest Retreat is aimed for the small group and everyone regardless of previous yoga knowledge. You will be challenged at the level you are at.

Included: The price includes overnight accommodation in hammock tents (the first 2 to register, after that we offer tents), a Swedish “fika”, dinner, breakfast (all meals are prepared with organic and/or local ingredients to the extent possible) as well as yoga, meditation and introduction to outdoor life, i.e. camping, outdoor cooking, if necessary – how to make a fire, outdoor toilet etc.

Check into the Forest for an overnight stay in your hammock tent

Accommodation: Overnight stay in hammock tents in the forest (the first 2 who register, after that we offer regular tents).

Number of participants: Normally the minimum number of participants is 4 people, but to open up for smaller groups we have a price ladder, see below, where even 1 person is welcome.

Maximum number is normally 12 people. If you are a bigger group – please send a request, and we will get back to you.

We do yoga, meditate, sleep and eat out for 1 day

Arrival/Check-in
14.00 Welcome to check in to the Forest
We will meet at the agreed location and guide you to the Forest Retreat, where you will turn off your phones and check into your hammock tents

15.00–15.30 Welcome gathering with Swedish “fika”, familiarization, tuning in and information about the program

16.00 Forest Tour and Yoga

We will also have a review and guiding of techniques and exercises for tomorrow’s morning ritual

19.00 Outdoor cooking over an open fire – we will provide you with all the equipment and a dinner package so that you can cook a complete meal in the open air on your own

When dinner is over, we invite you to silence, with the opportunity to watch the sunset and the stars that appear on the sky in clear weather. Of course, you are free to keep the crackling fire alive until it is time to crawl into the tents and let the treetops whisper you
to sleep

Saturday
6:00 When the first sun rays of dawn hit the tents, it’s time to start waking up

Silent walk to the lookout point, where we invite you to a simple meditation and some warming yoga exercises on your own, for example the morning ritual we went through the day before

08:00 Breakfast in the open air – we have packed a breakfast basket that you can quietly enjoy in silence, tranquillity and peace

09:00 Personal time in the forest – spread a blanket under a tree, listen to the sounds of the forest and see the treetops swaying in the wind – see, feel, smell, listen and discover if you can sense a taste of the forest, hang out in the sun on a stone slab, “ko-glo” i.e “cow-gaze” from the lookout point, read a book or take time to just relax

11:00 When you feel ready to wrap up – you check out

Good to bring:
Clothes for yoga and a change of clothes
Rain and windproof clothes
Walking shoes or comfortable shoes (water-repellent)
Sleeping clothes (pajamas, underwear or something else you like to sleep in, warm socks and a thin hat)
Vacuum bag
Backpack for your pack
